Photography at Cranbrook
According to its website Cranbrook allows photography but you must arrange it through one of their approved photographers or approved in writing by the Cranbrook administrators. I think Cranbrook would be a great place to have wedding photos or engagement photos.
Since I went to middle school and high school at Cranbrook I got accustomed to scenery. I never felt a great loyalty towards the school and I know if I do anything there, Cranbrook boosters will be hitting me up for money for the rest of my life. In fact, they already do hit me up for money all the time.

Our photographer who is not an official Cranbrook-approved photographer informed us that it costs $100 per person to take pictures on the Cranbrook grounds. That is certainly NOT worth it. Yes the grounds are nice but in the summer you can do just as well in parks or other locations.

Another addition: I e-mailed the administrators in Cranbrook. They said that ONLY pre-approved photographers on their list of vendors have permission to take pictures on the campus.
However, since the campus is so large it is pretty easy to walk around less busy areas of the Cranbrook grounds in some great scenery.
